Why a written brief beats a one-line prompt
The gap between an amateur result and a usable one is almost never the model — it is how much of the decision-making you left to the model. Every detail you don’t specify, it invents. Here is the same request, written two ways:
a nice photo of a perfume bottle, luxury, 4kNothing here decides the lens, the light, the surface, the background or the crop — so the model picks all five, differently every time. You cannot repeat a good result.
A 50ml faceted glass perfume bottle standing on wet black basalt, shot on an 85mm macro at f/4 so the front facet is razor sharp and the far edge falls away. Written for the model you are actually using
Prompt syntax is not universal. Midjourney wants comma-weighted phrases and trailing parameters. ChatGPT and Gemini image models want one flowing natural paragraph and get worse with keyword soup. Seedance rewards exact second-by-second timing; Veo generates its own audio so it wants sound cues. Is there a free version?
Yes. You get 30 free generations that run on your own free API key from Gemini, OpenAI, Claude, Grok or OpenRouter, so there is nothing to pay and no card to add. The Prompt Plan at Rs.299 a month runs on WEDO's own servers instead, so you do not need any API key at all.
Do I need to know prompt engineering to use it?
No — that is the point. You describe the outcome in ordinary language, in English or Tinglish, and the tool does the prompt engineering. If you already know prompt engineering, every option stays editable, so you can override the composition, lens, lighting, aspect ratio, negatives and model syntax yourself.
Can I use the images and prompts commercially?
The prompts WEDO AI Studio writes are yours to use, edit and reuse commercially. Images you generate are governed by the terms of the underlying model provider, so check those for your specific commercial use case.
